Introduction
UoNSU has developed the Online Staff Suggestion Box to encourage employees to come forward with ideas and comments which meet one of the following criteria:

Improve performance
-
Generate financial savings
-
Comment on UoNSU activity leading to change
-
Deliver some other intrinsic merit
Objective
The objective of the Online Suggestion Box is to identify efficiencies, generate financial savings and/or improve staff or student services and welfare.
Areas where potential improvements may be made include:

better or more efficient use of resources
-
improved and/or simplified processes and procedures
-
a more productive working environment
-
more user-friendly use of forms/paperwork for the UoNSU and/or students/customers
-
streamlined services to students/customers, improving customer care or reducing errors and complaints, and
-
reducing waste
Commitment
Every suggestion submitted will receive an acknowledgement of thanks from the HR Manager (unless you have stated you do not wish to discuss this). The HR Manager will undertake an initial review of all suggestions received, and where relevant will consult with each Department Manager for which the suggestions are most relevant.
Any feedback submitted will also be considered for termly staff awards in recognition of additional activity to improve the operation and management of the Students’ Union, above and beyond normal responsibilities.
